Welcome to Lowellville

The picturesque Village of Lowellville, population 1,155 (2010 census), sits deeply nestled on the banks of the Mahoning River in the far northeast corner of Mahoning County. Settlers from the eastern United States arrived here as early as 1800, and the Village was incorporated in 1890.

Emergency Preparedness

The Lowellville Safety Committee has created an emergency plan. In an emergency situation sirens will sound for three minutes and residents are asked to check the local media for emergency information. Testing of these sirens is done on a weekly basis on Saturday at noon, the test lasts one minute. Follow this link to see the details:
