Santa Arrives

Santa
Santa and Mrs. Santa will be arriving by Fire Engine in Lowellville at the City Hall on Sunday, December 18th at 6:00 pm.

After the children have had a chance to sit on Santa’s lap the Lowellville Fire Dept. will pass out a bag of candy per child.

Dear Fellow Club Members and new member applicants:
It is time to get “FIRED UP” and “RALLY IN THE VALLEY” and join us in this event and unite to repeal SB 5 by voting No on Issue 2.
The executive board has decided to send two RALLY tickets to each member to help finance this event. We hope that you will attend, send the ticket money in now so we can get a count of people for food. We have printed 1000 tickets and call if you need more tickets. The meeting and luncheon will be indoors, but the entire festival grounds will be utilized throughout the day and evening for the “RALLY”.
All Democratic candidates are invited to seek the club’s endorsement and erect their signs and ‘politic’ all day and night. We are pushing absentee ballot applications to make sure we get our fellow Dems to vote this Issue 2 down and to support all our Democratic candidates.

Halloween Activities 2011

Halloween Trick or Treat in Lowellville is October 31, 2011, Monday, from 5-7 pm. Aqua Ohio Water will provide cider and donuts for the kids at City Hall & corner of Parsons and Wood Street.

The Fire Department Association is sponsoring a “Haunted Bike Trail” walk. October 29, Saturday,from Dusk (approx. 7:00 pm ) – 11:30 pm & October 30, Sunday, from Dusk (approx. 7:00 pm ) – 10:30 pm. Under 5 years old is free… $4.00 each individual ….Family(s) of 4 or more $12.00… At end of trail Hay Ride will be provided back to the start location.

When: Saturday, October 1st at 2:00 p.m.

Hole Sponsorship and Team Registration:
The cost of a hole sponsorship will be $50.00 per sign. The cost per team will be $200.00 or $50.00 per player. All checks can be made out to the Lowellville Police association and dropped off at city hall. Teams participating in the outing shall have the money and their forms turned in no later than September 1, 2011.

Details:
This years outing will be Saturday October 1st @ 2:00 p.m. SHOTGUN START. If you have any questions or concerns, pleas contact Sgt. Roger Vance or Sgt. Goist @ 330-536-6326. Beer and other beverages will be passed out on the course during the outing. Turn food will be available in the front of the club house and dinner will follow at the completion of the outing in the pavilion. Skins and 50/50 tickets will be sold before the outing starts. All golfers shall be at the pavilion around 1:15 p.m. for instructions and registration. Thank you and have fun.

Lowellville Day

Here is the schedule of event for this year’s Lowellville Day celebration on Saturday, August 13.

  1. Parade starts at Lowellville High School at 3:00 pm and ends at the Veterans Memorial Peace park/Gazebo downtown Water Street Lowellville.
  2. LHS Band and The American Legion Post 247 will march.
  3. ALL ORGANIZATIONS ARE WELCOME TO MARCH. Please contact Ron Rotunno to register at the number listed below.
  4. Procession to include Commissioners, Judges, Village Officials, Mahoning Valley Car Club and Lowellville “Cruisin’ the River” Car Show antique vehicles, Lowellville Fire and Police and neighboring Departments will be represented.
  5. Speeches and presentations will take place at the Gazebo once the parade and procession arrives.
  6. DJ will provide music from 4:00 pm – 7 pm followed by the Band “busting Loose” from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm.
  7. There will be food and games and activities for all.
