The picturesque Village of Lowellville, population 1,217 (2000 census), sits deeply nestled on the banks of the Mahoning River in the far northeast corner of Mahoning County. Settlers from the eastern United States arrived here as early as 1800, and the Village was incorporated in 1890.

Residents take great pride in their small Village, which is rich in tradition and ethnicity. While only minutes away from the hussle and bussle of larger communities and retail outlets, Lowellville is a quiet, close-knit community. It is a place where family and community matter.
