Memorial Day

The American Legion Post 247 will lead the local community in the observance of memorial Day on Monday, May 29, 2016. Services honoring all our veterans with a special emphasis toward those who are deceased will include parades within the Holy rosary Cemetery and Poland Township Cemetery. There will be a public address by a local official and a ceremonial decoration of graves. A light luncheon is planned on the second floor of city hall following the programs. The legion is inviting all of you and your families to attend.

A generous donation is requested to provide economic support for this service. We are truly grateful for your past generous contributions. We pray that you will again join us to fund this expression of community patriotism. Checks should be made payable to American Legion Post 247, an sent to our finance officer, Carmen Franco, 3861 Cumberland Dr., Austintown, OH 44515.
